Synopsis

Kátia cannot have children and convinces her husband, Aleksey, to adopt a child. When little Semion arrives home, Aleksey abandons Kátia. Left on her own, she struggles to form a bond with her adopted son. Just as she finally earns Semion’s trust, a new challenge arises: Anton, the biological father—fresh out of prison—wants custody of the child. Will Anton become Kátia’s enemy, or will this encounter lead to a happy ending?
